With Platinum Plus models, when your awning is closed, the fabric is retracted into a permanently installed aluminum semi-cassette housing that protects your awning all year round from dirt, rain, wind, and snow. The elegant design provides a more contemporary finished look than a traditional uncovered retractable awning and reduces the wear and tear on your fabric. That means even more years of enjoyment to come!
Like our SunSetter Series Awnings, you can have shade or sun in seconds with our one-touch remote control — you control the weather on your deck or patio. Platinum Series Awnings are the ultimate in convenience, protection, and affordability.
These exceptional awnings give you the same features — or better — than other electric awnings that cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars more. Our Platinum Series Awnings are a "lateral arm" style for superior performance and stability, plus a top-of-the-line SOMFY® motor — the best in the industry — hidden inside the awning roller.
The Platinum XL and Platinum Plus XL Awnings are identical to the standard models, except that they offer greater projection by extending out from your house up to 11 ft. 8 in. to provide the maximum coverage, shade, and protection.
